KFC Is Ringing In The Holidays With A Fried Chicken Scented Fire Log

It’s beginning to smell a lot like Christmas! 🍗

KFC just announced that they’ve got the perfect gift to bring your home that special holiday charm. Nothing feels better than cozying up next to the fireplace, but what if we told you that this winter you could warm yourself up while aromas of fried chicken filled the air! [Photo: KFC]

The popular fast food chain just dropped a KFC 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog that, when lit, will give off the smell that we all know and love (some of us, too well.)

The rather unusual chunk of firewood is selling for $18.99, just about the same price of a 12-piece bucket of finger-licking good chicken. The landing page jokes around by mentioning in its disclaimers that the log “may result in a craving for fried chicken,” and to not “put face directly into fire in attempt to smell fried chicken.”

The KFC 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog is made up of 100 percent recycled materials courtesy of Enviro-Log making it “dramatically less wasteful and significantly more effective at making your home smell like fried chicken than burning actual fried chicken.”

The marketing stunt stems from the company’s previous successes. Back in 2016, KFC released a fried chicken sunscreen as well as an edible nail polish in Hong Kong.

Surround yourself with the things that matter this Christmas…
Family, friends and fried chicken!
