Winter Fest OC will be reimagined as a spectacular drive-thru featuring one million lights and Christmas tree lighting!
Winter Fest OC have decided to keep the holiday traditions alive this year. SoCal’s largest winter experience normally involves an exciting array of winter-related activities and performances. From an ice tubing slide with fresh snow blown in everyday to fireworks and live music performances. But like everything else this year, they’ve been searching for exciting ways to celebrate it all from the saftey of your four-wheeled slays. Enter Night of Lights OC, the new Holiday drive-thru now starting from December 10 to January 10 at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa.
Guests can look forward to a magical mile-long drive-through featuring immersive light tunnels with one million lights that will be synchronized to festive music played through your car radio or smartphone. You’ll be able to weave through gorgeous holiday scenery with dazzling animated light shows, a snow globe, an icicle playground, a luminary village, life-size ornaments and special effects. Of course, Santa will also be rolling in on his slay but only through December 23. There’ll also be a Christmas tree lighting spectacle as the main event to conjure up all that childhood nostalgia of the season.
Mom’s Bakeshoppe will be serving up those divine cookie buckets, tamales, and brownies which will be available through pre-order with your online ticket purchase. You’ll also find all your favorite holiday treats such as hot cocoa, cinnamon sugar donuts all available to order online by 10am on the date of admission and will be available to pick-up prior to entering.
Early Bird general admission tickets are available now starting at $49.99 per vehicle (for up to five people) on select nights. Larger vehicle tickets (six to nine people) start at $69.99 on select nights. The event will run daily for a month starting on December 3, excluding Christmas Eve.
Every Monday, local community heroes will be honored with a special $5 off coupon for teachers, military personnel, law enforcement, medical workers and firefighters. Here are all the specific dates:
- December 7: Salute to Teachers: Eligible guests can use the code “TEACH” and bring their relevant Teacher ID for onsite verification.
- December 14: Salute to Military and Law Enforcement: Eligible guests can use the code “SERVICE” and bring their relevant Military or Law Enforcement ID for onsite verification.
- December 21: Salute to Medical Workers: Eligible guests can use the code “FIRSTAID” and bring their relevant Medical ID for onsite verification.
- December 28: Salute to Firefighters: Eligible guests can use the code “FIRE” and bring their relevant Firefighter ID for onsite verification.
