It’s Pride Month, and Nomad Ice Pops is celebrating in a sweet and impactful way. The local gourmet popsicle shop has a reputation for giving back to the community, and this June is extra special.
In honor of Pride Month, Nomad Ice Pops will be donating $1 from every Rainbow Pop sold to support The Trevor Project, an incredible suicide prevention organization for LGBTQ+ youth.
“We chose to focus on The Trevor Project because the statistics on suicide amongst LGBTQ+ teens are particularly shocking and it seems like an area where a little support could go a long way,” shared Nomad Ice Pops with Secret L.A. “If just one additional life is changed because a teen knows about the Trevor Project and one phone call gets answered, that could be huge for that teen, those that love them, and those that will love them down the road — and that’s huge and worthy of support.”
So head on down to San Gabriel this month! We can guarantee that your Rainbow Pop will taste even sweeter knowing that you’re supporting a powerful life-changing cause.
