Globally-renowned Britpop group Oasis is making headlines around the world with the news of their 2025 reunion tour, which comes nearly 15 years to the date after their abrupt split in 2009. This will be the first time brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher perform together after a long feud, and fans will once again enjoy live performances of favorites including “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”
The band announced 14 dates in England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland in July and August of 2025, with tickets going on sale this weekend.
“The guns have fallen silent,” wrote the band. “The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
But will Oasis be coming to the U.S., and more importantly, to Los Angeles?
According to a press release, “Plans are underway for OASIS LIVE ’25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year.” No dates are confirmed for any Los Angeles shows, but a photo was leaked hinting that the band might pass through L.A.’s Rose Bowl on Sept. 6, 2025.
Other North American cities on the leaked document include Toronto, Chicago, Boston, Mexico City, and East Rutherford. The U.K. and Ireland performances on the document turned out to be accurate, but no word yet on whether these cities and dates are.
Oasis’ potential return to Los Angeles would be the stuff of legend — perhaps even superseding their infamous meth-fueled L.A. show in 1994 at Whiskey A Go Go in West Hollywood. Per the band’s 2016 documentary retelling, the Gallagher brothers mistook meth for cocaine, and proceeded to perform one of the most disastrous drug-fueled gigs of their career. Threats were made, tambourines were smashed, and bass amps exploded. This Louder piece tells the full unbelievable story.
