Any cinephile out there would agree that experiencing a movie in IMAX is an absolute must. Only 9 theatres in the United States are hosting Dune: Part Two on IMAX 70mm film. Southern California is home to three of them — and two of them are in L.A. County.
IMAX theaters allow sequence shots with IMAX film cameras to expand vertically and fill the entire screen. These theatres featuring 15 perf / 70mm film, allow scenes to expand up to a 1.43:1 aspect ratio — engulfing audiences in a film and ensuring a movie experience like never before.
