A new exhibition is about to make a splash at the Natural History Museum. Orcas: Our Shared Future is not your typical museum stroll.
This immersive new exhibition dives deep into the world of orcas, blending science, art, and culture into one seriously powerful experience.
What will you see?
Expect life-size orca replicas, moody underwater lighting, and interactive installations that pull you into the lives of these intelligent, family-oriented animals. You’ll get a closer look at how orcas communicate, hunt, and thrive. Plus, you’ll learn why their future is tied so closely to ours.
But it’s not just science. The exhibition also showcases stunning sculpture, masks, and prints by Indigenous artists from the Pacific Northwest Coast, highlighting the deep cultural connections between orcas and First Nations communities. It’s a thought-provoking experience that feels as emotional as it is educational.
The exhibition is a joint venture produced by the Royal British Columbia Museum in Victoria, Canada, and MuseumsPartner in Austria. They bring together international expertise to create an immersive experience.
