After more than a year of restoration, Palisades Village is officially reopening its doors, and it’s a major milestone in Pacific Palisades’ recovery.
The popular outdoor shopping and dining destination will welcome visitors back on Friday, August 15. Owner Rick Caruso announced the reopening after a restoration effort that cost more than $100 million following the Palisades Fire in January 2025.
A massive restoration brought Palisades Village back to life
Palisades Village survived the wildfire. But it still needed extensive repairs. Smoke, ash, and debris contaminated much of the property.
Crews stripped buildings to their frames, rebuilt interiors, and completed environmental cleanup before businesses could return. Now, the center is finally ready to reopen.
Nearly every storefront is filled
According to Caruso, Palisades Village is now 99% leased, with the majority of previous tenants returning alongside several exciting newcomers.

- Loomey’s Toys
- K Bakery
- Elyse Walker
- Angelini Ristorante & Bar
For many business owners, reopening is an emotional milestone after losing longtime locations during the fire.
New restaurants and shops are joining the Village
The reopening also brings a handful of new additions to Palisades Village. Among the most anticipated newcomers are Spacca Tutto, chef Nancy Silverton’s Italian steakhouse, and LESET, which will debut its first West Coast storefront at the center. The mix of new and returning businesses gives visitors plenty to look forward to.
More than a shopping center
Palisades Village first opened in 2018. Since then, it has become a neighborhood gathering place.
The January 2025 Palisades Fire destroyed more than 6,800 structures, including over 5,500 homes. Recovery is still underway across the community. The reopening of Palisades Village is another important step forward.
“It is a testament to the resilience and spirit of this community,” Caruso wrote in an Instagram post announcing the reopening.
