Phoebe Bridgers’ new album Lost Weekend is getting an immersive debut in planetariums around the world ahead of its official release on August 14.
In partnership with Spotify, the album will be played in full inside select planetariums from August 10 through August 14. The experience pairs the music with one of two original visual presentations designed to transform the album into an atmospheric, multisensory experience.
A full listening experience
One option is a custom dome show created by renowned night-sky photographer Babak Tafreshi. The other is an immersive laser show designed by Laser Fantasy. Each presentation offers a different visual interpretation of the album while guests listen to Lost Weekend from start to finish.
This is a listening experience, not a live performance, and unfortunately, Phoebe Bridgers will not be in attendance.
Where to experience the Lost Weekend planetarium show
Southern California fans will have a chance to experience Lost Weekend under the stars at the Orange Coast College Planetarium in Costa Mesa.
