Pixar Fest is back at Disneyland Resort! Celebrating its return since its inaugural run in 2018, this beloved festival brings Pixar Animation Studios’ characters and stories back to life from April 26 through August 4, 2024. Here’s what to expect at this year’s Pixar Fest:
What’s New This Year
“Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” Parade
Experience this new daytime parade at Disney California Adventure Park, featuring vibrant floats and more than two dozen beloved characters from Pixar films, like “Toy Story,” “Monsters, Inc.,” “Turning Red,” and “Luca.” This parade celebration focuses on the themes of friendship and adventure, introducing new Pixar characters for the first time, like Mei in her red panda form from “Turning Red,” and Luca and Alberto from “Luca.”
Club Pixar
Nightly at Disney California Adventure Park, Club Pixar will turn the Hollywood Backlot into a high-energy dance party with a DJ and live performances. By day, it offers unique photo opportunities and the chance to meet Pixar characters, such as Mr. and Mrs. Incredible in their original super suits.
Returning Favorites
“Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular”
Back by popular demand, this stunning nighttime show at Disneyland Park features colorful projections, memorable music, and of course, pyrotechnics. Guests can expect to see snippets of scenes from recent Pixar hits like “Turning Red” and the upcoming “Inside Out 2.”
Pixar Pals Playtime Party
At the Fantasyland Theatre, this family-friendly event returns, offering guests interactive dance and game sessions with their favorite Pixar characters, like Dug and Russell from “Up,” along with screenings of award-winning Pixar shorts.
Exclusive Merchandise, Collectibles and Treats
Starting today, visitors can enjoy themed menus at Paradise Garden Grill and Troubadour Tavern, featuring Pixar-inspired food items. On May 10, six food and beverage marketplaces will debut across Disney California Adventure Park, each themed after beloved Pixar films, such as a summertime pasta spot from “Luca” and reimagined classics from “Ratatouille.”
The other marketplaces are set to be themed after “Turning Red,” “Soul,” “Elemental” and “Inside Out.” Guests can also take a piece of the magic home with exclusive Pixar Fest merchandise, including novelty items like the Coco guitar bucket and the Slinky Dog sipper.
