A Pokémon Center pop-up is headed to Anaheim, California!
Just ahead of the 2025 Pokémon World Championships this August, fans of the iconic franchise can attend this one-of-a-kind pop-up stacked with photo opps with Pikachu and friends, access to side events, and exclusive merch like 2025 World plushies for Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Machamp, and Fennekin.
The pop-up also promises more exclusive Pokémon designs, merch, and surprises.
When will the Pokémon Center be open?
The Pokémon Center pop-up at the 2025 Pokémon World Championships will open to the public on Wednesday, August 14, 2025 and run through Sunday, August 17, 2025.
The pop-up will be open from 10 am to 6 pm on Thursday, August 14, and 9 am to 6 pm on August 15 through August 17.
What are the Pokémon World Championships?
According to a press release, the Pokémon World Championships are “the pinnacle of competitive Pokémon play – featuring the best Pokémon players from around the globe, players will compete in the three-day event for a prize pool of over $2,000,000 and the title of Pokémon World Champion across the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon GO and Pokémon UNITE!”
The competition takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center from August 15 – 17.
Do I need a Championships badge to stop by the Pokémon Center?
No!
The only way to enter the Pokémon Center pop-up is with a reservation. Even badge-holders are required to register for a reservation.
According to a representative, “Fans who would like to shop at the Pokémon Center store will require a reservation to do so, and a badge to the 2025 Pokémon World Championships does not automatically grant you access. However, a spectator badge to the 2025 Pokémon World Championships is not required to shop at the Pokémon Center with your reservation.”
