Movie lovers (and Angelenos), rejoice! Project Hail Mary, the new, epic space film starring Ryan Gosling, is going to screen in 70mm at five theaters in and around Los Angeles.
Just ahead of the film’s official release on March 20, Project Hail Mary is headed to five L.A. theaters in 70mm and IMAX 70mm. The screenings are happening on March 13, 14, and 15.
According to Secret New York, the film is based on Andy Weir’s bestselling novel and “follows science teacher–turned–accidental astronaut Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling), who wakes up alone on a spacecraft light-years from Earth with no memory of how he got there. As his memories return, so does the magnitude of his mission: solve the mystery of a substance causing the Sun to die — and save humanity from extinction.”
