Roll Amongst Millions Of Twinkling Lights At The Six Flags ‘Holiday In The Park Drive-Thru Experience’

Six Flags Magic Mountain will continue through January with exciting New Year features.

Theme parks have been shuttered since the lockdown initially went into place and the strict requirements set by the state have made it virtually impossible for operational activity to be worth the while. However, Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia north of California is giving enthusiasts a little taste of the park with its first-ever Holiday in the Park Drive-thru Experience.

It has now extended the event with exciting New Year additions and will run on select nights throughout January giving guests ample time to make the most of the festive event.

While roller coasters aren’t on the cards, the eight dazzling zones throughout the 125-acre theme park are lined up to create one magical ride—from the safety of your vehicle, of course. This mesmerizing nighttime drive-through experience will feature millions of twinkling lights synchronized to the cheerful music.

You can also expect all your favorite Holiday in the Park decorations and characters. There’ll even be a “drive-by” with Santa and his elves. Some of the designated areas include Merry Lane featuring giant ornaments covered in light, the Gleampunk District, Winter Wonderland, Holiday Square, Snowy Nights, North Pole Plaza and an illuminated DC Universe.

New additions include music and light shows choreographed in DC Universe, The Boardwalk near CraZanity, and Metropolis to celebrate the new year with party tunes and dancing lights. Then there’s The Underground party which pops off with an oversized bottle of 2021 vintage sparkling cider and to keep the New Year’s party on beat, an exciting new percussion routine from The Underground drummers.  There’ll also be West Coast Customs vehicles on display with the centerpiece being rapper Bad Bunny’s custom semi-truck.

No holiday experience is complete without souvenirs and sweet treats, so you’ll be able to purchase a number of wholesome holiday bundles which includes everything from 3D glass that will bring the displays to life to handmade coaster candy fudge (in a range of flavors like peppermint bark and cookie dough). All packs will be delivered to your vehicle during the experience and as a bonus, with every merch bundle purchased a holiday bear will be donated to children’s charities within Los Angeles.

There will be a number of health and safety measures and attendees will need to be from the same household, with a minimum of two people per vehicle. Tickets will be between $20-25 per person, depending on the date and membership status.

Dates: January 15-17, 22-24, 29-31
