Getting ready for festive cheer in Southern California just got a whole lot sweeter for older thrill-seekers.
Six Flags Magic Mountain is officially gearing up for its annual Holiday in the Park celebration.
The Valencia destination is bringing back seasonal shows, spectacular light setups, and comfort food on select dates from Nov. 26 through Jan. 3.
Even better? The park just unveiled a brand-new perk offering free unlimited season passes for seniors through the end of the 2026 season.
Here is everything you need to know about claiming the pass and what is hitting the park this winter.
Free unlimited season passes for seniors
Beginning Nov. 4, guests age 65 and older can register for free unlimited admission to Six Flags Magic Mountain. The complimentary pass remains valid through the entire 2026 operating season.
To take advantage of the deal, eligible guests need to complete a few simple steps:
- Register online before heading over to the park.
- Activate the pass in person on or before Dec. 31.
- Bring a valid government-issued ID with your date of birth each time you visit.
Keep in mind that this specific pass does not include entry to Knott’s Berry Farm. It also excludes extra season perks like complimentary parking or food discounts.
Still, it offers full access to the park’s famous lineup—from world-class roller coasters to family favorites like the Grand American Carousel, bumper cars, and the Justice League: Battle for Metropolis dark ride.

Brand-new holiday shows and entertainment
This year’s entertainment schedule features major new additions across several stages.
Over at the Full Throttle Stage, visitors can gather each evening for a synchronized Tree Lighting Ceremony with live music and performers.
The same stage will also host “Cool Yule Christmas,” a high-energy holiday musical revue.
Other live productions joining the lineup include:
- “Tinker’s Toy Factory” at the GearWorks Theater, following hard-working elves prepping for Christmas Eve.
- “No Biz Like Snow Biz” at the Bunny Bowl Amphitheater, featuring favorite Looney Tunes characters.
- TWAS: A Merry Mishap, an interactive story experience in Metropolis Park.
- Live street performances, including sets by The Yule Logs at Metro Pub and The Mistletones at the Carousel Gazebo.
Winter treats, light displays, and Santa visits
Families and holiday lovers will find plenty of festive activities sprinkled throughout the grounds.
Kids can head over to Rapids Camp Crossing for Storytime with Mrs. Claus or drop off wishlists at the North Pole Craft Depot & Post Office.
Of course, Santa Claus will be on hand for meet-and-greets, cookie decorating, and open fire pits for roasting s’mores.
For photos, check out the new Tree Lot experience in The Underground. If you are strolling through Baja Ridge, make sure to stop by The Wishing Ridge to watch dancing light displays pulse alongside classic holiday tunes.
When hunger strikes, Dasher’s Diner will dish out seasonal comfort dishes alongside specialty bites like warm pozole, pumpkin pie, and an eggnog cheesecake funnel cake.
Whether you want to ride world-record coasters under millions of twinkling lights or treat your grandparents to a festive day out, this winter lineup offers plenty of reasons to take the drive up from L.A.
