Spring is everyone’s favorite season, not just for the flowers but for Easter, which brings the perfect excuse for chocolate feasts and photo ops with the Easter Bunny.
This weekend, one of the region’s biggest events hits the iconic Santa Anita Park horse racing track in Arcadia (just a 30‑minute drive from L.A.), where SoCal’s largest Easter egg hunt unfolds, with more than 33,000 eggs up for grabs.
Families from across the region are encouraged to show up early to save good spots on the grass, prep their baskets, and plan their egg‑collecting strategy. Hunts are divided by age group, so toddlers won’t get elbowed out by older kids, and the Easter Bunny will make appearances for photos, hugs, and, of course, a little candy bribery.
Alongside the egg hunt, you’ll find classic springtime fun: carnival rides, games and trackside BBQs.
