Music lovers, rejoice! A free vinyl music fair is headed to Los Angeles’ iconic Sunset Strip!
Spinning Sunset kicks off on Saturday, August 29, 2026, with more than 80 vendors, DJs, vintage finds, music memorabilia, a beer garden, food trucks, and more, taking over the Sunset Plaza’s lower parking lot.
“The Sunset Strip has long been synonymous with music history, from The Doors’ residency at Whisky a Go Go to Bruce Springsteen’s performance at The Roxy and the legendary inaugural album billboards that transformed this 1.5-mile stretch into a cultural landmark,” said Sol Yamini, Sunset Strip BID Board Chair, in a statement. “While that legacy remains central to The Strip’s identity, today’s music culture is showing up in new ways. The creativity, energy, and excitement that have defined this community for more than six decades is still very much alive today.”
This is the second year of the vinyl festival, and over 3,500 people attended the debut event in 2025. Onsite activations include DJ sets, a vintage car show, food trucks, a beer garden, and giveaways. Businesses along the Sunset Strip will also be activating with cocktail specials, after-parties, specialty menus, and more.
