Spotify Reveals L.A.’s Top Trending Songs Of The Summer Broken Down By Neighborhood

We’re in the thick of July, but the debate over which track will take the crown of Song of the Summer rages on. But statistics don’t lie, and music streaming app Spotify hopes to quell the heated discourse with new data that actually shows what Angelenos are listening to.

And as a Secret Los Angeles exclusive, they broke down the data even further to show what music a few neighborhoods in L.A. are streaming!

Some of the results are more surprising than others: Bad Bunny, Alex Warren, and Lorde feel expected, but a surprising amount of Angelenos are streaming Jennie, BB Trickz, Hanna Cohen, and Ely Oaks. The songs stood out as tracks that have seen the most distinct streaming increase, specific to each neighborhood. The data was collected from May 20 through July 10.

Brentwood:
