Hispanic Heritage Month is a time dedicated to recognizing and highlighting all the incredible achievements within the Hispanic community―and Sprinkles is celebrating in a sweet way.
The L.A. bakery is joining forces with Netflix’s Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend challenge winner to bring a delectable cupcake that honors the chef’s Hispanic roots. “Sprinkles is excited to partner with Claudette Zepeda, San Diego-based chef and culinary entrepreneur, to present La Gloria, the next cupcake in our Female Chef Series,” stated the bakery.
Zepeda’s delectable La Gloria cupcake is full of flavors originating from Northern Mexico and is made up of a caramel flavored cake adorned in pecans, a dulce de leche center, savory yet sweet caramel frosting and topped with cinnamon sugar. The cupcake is inspired by the candy she would often find in her grandmother’s purse as a child, and pefectly made with love.
The celebration doesn’t stop there though! Sprinkles is also donating to the Hispanic Heritage Foundation to further the empowerment of Hispanic culture.
You can get your hands on these sweet treats starting September 12th through the 25th at all Sprinkles’ Bakeries and ATMs around Los Angeles and across the nation. Find your Sprinkle’s location here.
