The Los Angeles-based textile and sustainability brand is hosting its Repair Double Weekend over two consecutive weekends this August. The event will focus on practical and creative ways to give damaged clothing a second life.
On Friday nights, guests can also sip some wine while they work on their clothes. It’s a casual way to learn new repair skills, save a favorite piece, and keep unwanted clothing out of the waste stream.
What to bring
Bring along the clothing you’ve been meaning to repair. Whether it’s a collared shirt missing a button or a well-loved piece that needs some creative mending, SUAY can help give it a second life.
You can bring items that need:
- Zipper repairs
- Hole repairs
- Darning
- Creative repairs
Just make sure your clothing is clean and ready to be worked on. Repairs start at $15+ and are priced individually depending on the work needed.

The repair event takes place August 21–24 and August 28–31.
Hours:
- Friday: 12 p.m.–8 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Monday: 12 p.m.–6 p.m.
