The Alex Theatre (216 North Brand Boulevard, Glendale) has long been an artistic hub not only of Glendale, but all of Los Angeles. In fact, the theatre is so special that it’s even been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Below are just a few of the shows happening now at this beloved venue.

These are the shows you can catch right now at the Alex Theatre:

Few theaters still standing today can say they were there at the beginning of Hollywood’s boom. Built in 1925, the Alex Theatre is older than Grauman’s Chinese Theatre (now the TCL Chinese Theatre), the El Capitan, and the Los Angeles Theatre, and 100 years later it’s still a beacon of art and culture.

Today, the Alex Theatre is as vibrant as ever, hosting shows and events put on by the Alex Film Society, Musical Theatre Guild, and the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra.

Whether you’re familiar with the Alex Theatre, haven’t been in a while, or have never had the pleasure of attending a show at this historic landmark, now is the time to visit. So check out one of the shows below and get your tickets!
