An immersive descent into the supernatural
The experience begins before you even sit down. Guests step into a themed bar to sip on specialty cocktails before a host guides them deeper into the historic building. Before the show begins, you’ll hear real-life accounts of unexplained occurrences and reported hauntings from the venue’s own past.
By the time you take your seat by the creaky 2nd-floor Parlor Stage, the line between reality and the supernatural has already begun to blur. The intimate setup puts you right in the action – maybe even too close for comfort…
A psychological thriller that actually scares
Inspired by the likes of The Woman in Black and Paranormal Activity, the story follows Lorraine (Kayla Fast), a grieving mother who moves back into her childhood home with her daughter, Emily (Hannah Rubinstein). When unexplainable occurrences plague the house, she seeks out a medium (Kelly Krippendorf)—only to uncover a sinister entity and a chilling secret that turns things deeply personal.
Beyond the horror (that really does scare even die hard horror fans), The Eaves functions as a multi-layered psychological thriller drawing on themes of grief, inheritance and generational trauma. Local Haunts praised its unpredictable twists, calling it “a ghost story that will actually scare you.”
Crafting the nightmare: the creative team behind The Eaves
The eerie atmosphere of The Eaves comes to life through Meyer2Meyer Entertainment’s standout creative team. Costume designer Tanya Cyr and actor Dave Beaudrie bring to life a monster Broadway World called “maybe the most terrifying since Art the Clown.”
Backed by Jay Michael Roberts’ disorienting set design and atmospheric sound and lighting by Kelby Thwaits and Julia Vollstedt, The Eaves delivers a spine-chilling, thought-provoking night out you shouldn’t miss.
