The Subterranean Forest is a tactile and colorful installation full of interactive elements located in Downtown Los Angeles at 611 Gladys Ave, and it’s officially open! With sound bowls, drums, games, and more, The Subterranean Forest will help you get away from all the noise and rejuvenate your mind.
Creator 333 Gallery describes The Subterranean Forest as “a sensorium of wonder and play.” When you first enter the space, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a painting. But this experience isn’t just for looking at—The Subterranean Forest encourages you to interact with everything it has to offer.
No need to tread carefully or stand at a respectable distance from the artwork here. Lay out on the ground, feel the various materials making up the walls, make your own music, and get weird!
All ages are welcome and there is onsite parking available on a first come, first serve basis. The meditative experience should take around 60-80 minutes, and photos inside the space are not only allowed, but encouraged!
The Subterranean Forest is unique to each group, because each group will bring their own imaginative minds. The Subterranean Forest is currently open and ready to work its magic on your mind and body. Get your tickets here!
