6. Explore Art and Science at PST ART Open House
PST ART Open House is a free day-to-night exploration of art and science presented by Getty. It is one of the last events for PST ART, the largest art event in the U.S. Visitors can look forward to the taping of a new game show pilot, pop-up art-science book fair, visions of alien life, and artists and scientists in conversation. Plus, there will be music and performances throughout the entire event. LaSorted’s Pizza, Kogi BBQ, and a coffee bar by Noun Coffee will be on-site throughout the event, with a beer and wine bar opening in the evening as the festival transitions from day to night.

Directed by Mauro Borelli and executive produced by Grammy-winning musician Chris Tomlin, The Last Supper “depicts events leading up to a betrayal, as a group of disciples gather, revealing secrets and hidden motives,” according to IMDb. The historical epic about the final days of Jesus of Nazareth premieres on March 14 in select theaters, including three right here in LA.

All this rain has caused some of these pink beauties to bloom a bit early around town, so no need to head to Japan or D.C. for a taste of the Sakura festival life. The brief display of these cherry blossom trees typically lasts only a few weeks in March — with some lasting until early April, if we’re lucky (depending on the wind and rain), so don’t wait to see them.
