There’s A Freakin’ Bunny Museum In Los Angeles, You Guys

Bunny Museum in LA

Get in the rabbit habit amid the Bunny Museum’s collection of over 30,000 leporine objects.

Here’s somewhere funny, honey. Just off a wide avenue in Altadena is the utterly bizarre Bunny Museum, a labor of love from collectors Candace Frazee and Steve Lubanski.

As the above video explains, there are all sorts of bunny-ful items: mugs, paintings, towering sculptures, adorable stuffed toys, and sinister old dolls. The whole place is bursting at the seams.

The founders are a married couple who used to call each other ‘honey bunny.’ Exchanging bunny-referencing trinkets gradually became a daily occurrence, and 35,000 items later it’s all got a teensy bit out of hand. They’re still very much love and live in the museum together. Cute!

In amongst the thousands of artificial bunnies, you might spot one of the six real bunny residents hopping around. (I do wonder, if I was a bunny, if living surrounded by thousands of fake versions of me would fuck my head up a little bit. There’s no way to know I suppose and by all accounts seem happy enough.)

Did I mention there were a LOT of bunnies here? Seriously friend.

Visit Bunny Museum Weird

I would however recommend against visiting this attraction if you have a serious bunny phobia. You would not like it AT ALL.
