You might have seen all the TikTok’s of people watching Twisters in 4DX — and you might have even experienced some serious FOMO when you found out it was removed from 4DX theaters. Well, you can fear not — Twisters is returning to 4DX!
Initially, Deadpool & Wolverine took over the 4DX ticket option, but it looks like regal cinemas heard everyone’s outcry and they announced on X/formerly Twitter that Twisters will be back in 4DX later this month. Starting August 30, Twisters is back in 4DX along with the original Twister from 1996 — for one-week only!
Now if you don’t know what 4DX is — it’s an experience that takes watching a movie to a whole new level. It combines visuals with effects to make you feel like you’re in the action. We’re talking about motion seats that move with every twist and turn on the screen — along with environmental effects like wind, rain, and fog that sync up perfectly with the film! Experiencing it with Twisters will blow you away, literally.
There are only a few select cities that offer the 4DX experience, and we are spoiled in L.A. because we have two theaters that offer it!
