But a popular hotpot chain recently topped BetUS’s list of the best buffets in the U.S. based on Google reviews, buffet menu price, and whether or not soft drinks are included.
City of Industry’s Umi Hotpot Sushi & Seafood Buffet ranked #20 among the best U.S. buffets analyzed, making it the highest-ranking California restaurant on the list. Not only does Umi Hotpot maintain an impressive 4.80 rating on Google reviews, but it also includes all drinks in the price.

$25.99 lunch menu
Umi Hotpot’s lunchtime buffet menu is the best way to get the most bang for your buck. For $25.99, adult diners can enjoy all-you-can-eat food and drinks between 11 am and 3:30 pm on weekdays.
Among the dozens of colorful dishes, you’ll find rows of fresh sushi, hotpot options with six different types of soup bases, seafood including abalone and crab legs, and dim sum.
The dinner buffet and weekend buffet, on the other hand, cost $39.99. So consider making the trip out there for the lunchtime buffet to enjoy the best prices.
Umi Hotpot is a franchise with 24 locations around the United States, but the City of Industry location is the only one in California and the highest-ranking one on BetUS’s study.
