We finally get to stop drooling over the past and tuck into a juicy offering at UNCOOL’s new West Hollywood location. After shutting down in Larchmont, they’ve been teasing us with a reopening for what feels like forever. Thankfully, from February 21, the ironically-named eatery is back in L.A. with a sizzling menu, ultra-trendy interiors—and a dreamy new cocktail bar. To add to that, they’ll be celebrating their return with a $5 UN-happy meal featuring a cocktail, uncool burger, and fries who follow their IG and are 21+ on February 26!
The pared-back interiors consist of industrial tones illuminated with fun neon lighting and wooden accents that add a touch of warmth. The sleek setting puts the focus on the imaginative food at center stage. While UNCOOL might have dropped the “burgers” from the name, it’s still very much the heart and soul of the place with options like the Quesobirria Burger or The Rolls Royce Of Burgers stealing the show. You’ll find a ton of irresistible vegan options too.
Although, they have broadened their culinary horizons to create a curated menu of comfort food with items like Korean fried chicken sandwiches, wings, sides and salads. You’ll even find a few options inspired by restaurants in the same hospitality group like breakfast burritos, which have put Tu Madre on the gourmet map amongst locals.
The inviting outdoor patio is the perfect place to investigate L.A.’s largest smashburger menu before you slip indoors to sip on boozy snow cones, wine or cocktails until 2 a.m. There’s no doubt that a full alcoholic beverage menu that has been lovingly crafted by Alchemy’s Joshua Suchan and Eataly’s Chef Jonathan Katz will become your new favorite hangout.
