Vidiots is bringing back Movie Den for another summer of affordable afternoon movies. The tween- and teen-focused series returns to the nonprofit’s MUBI Microcinema at the historic Eagle Theatre with a lineup of classics, cult favorites, and modern hits.
Launched in 2025, Movie Den introduces younger audiences to films from different eras and genres. Screenings take place during spring and summer breaks every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Tickets cost just $2, a tribute to the Eagle Theatre’s original ticket prices. Every admission also includes free popcorn.
The series is designed for ages 12 and up, but everyone is welcome. Parents and guardians are encouraged to check each film’s rating before attending.
More than a movie series
Movie Den celebrates the experience of discovering films beyond streaming algorithms. The program encourages audiences to explore movies they may have never considered watching.
The lineup mixes Hollywood classics, international cinema, cult favorites, and award-winning contemporary films. It offers an accessible introduction to film history while creating a welcoming space for young movie fans.
Vidiots also partners with TeenTix, allowing members ages 13 to 19 to see regular screenings for $5 throughout the year. Its video rental collection remains available for just $3 per title.
