Nothing like a good vintage!

Nestled into the rolling hills of central California is the family-run Alta Colina winery. While most would venture out purely for the wine tastings, their new getaway concept is the retro respite you absolutely need right now.  “Trailer Pond” features 5 pastel vintage trailers overlooking the incredible vineyards from a secluded hilltop. You can hike around the 130 acres of scenic land, swim in the pond, arrange yoga or a massage and sunbathe on the deck while sipping on Estate-Crafted Rhone varietal wines.

The experience is a partnership between Tinker Tin Trailer Company and Alta Colina that arose from the shared passion for truly unforgettable experiences steeped in American history. It combines the sweeping views and offerings of the wine estate in Westside hills of Paso Robles with the nostalgia of the company’s beautifully restored vintage trailer—the perfect pairing.

You’ll wake up in the mornings to each uniquely decorated room, beaming with old-school charm, from the linen and quirky art to the vintage appliances. Each one sleeps two people and comes with a bathroom and shower nearby. There’s a communal cooking area with a farmhouse table that seats 12 for evening gatherings with friends. Meals can be arranged or you can head to the grocery store just minutes away if you have a wave of culinary inspiration.

The Alta Colina tasting room is open daily for you to fully immerse yourself in the fruits of the land, defined by the hilltops and California sunshine. There’s truly no better way to enjoy the crisp whites and luscious reds than surrounded by exquisite settings.
