Join Superman and Krypto in an immersive, interactive adventure. Starting April 18th, Superman Experience: Defenders Unite opens at Warner Bros. Studio in Burbank, CA. This immersive attraction uses motion detection, 3D video, physical props, puzzles, and audio-animatronics.

The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County is one of the city’s most underrated days out.

Their Dinosaur Hall alone is worth the trip alone, with over 300 fossils and 20 mounted skeletons, and now guests can enjoy their newly opened Butterfly Pavilion.

Catch the Lyrids peaking overnight April 21–22, 2026 — best after midnight away from city lights. If you’re craving a classic stargazing moment, the Lyrid meteor shower will be active April 15–29, 2026, with the peak occurring the night of April 21 into the early hours of April 22. Best viewing is after midnight from dark-sky locations near Los Angeles such as Anza-Borrego, Joshua Tree, Angeles National Forest, and Malibu Creek State Park.

For a bright, springy outing in L.A., Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge expects its brilliant tulip plantings to peak in March 2026. Volunteers planted over 35,000 bulbs near the entrance and along the promenades, and now’s the time to book tickets to see them.

The limited, family-style dinner menu is served Wednesday–Sunday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm with a drinks program by Mara Herbkersman.

The 16-time Oscar-nominated film Sinners is being celebrated with a limited-time exhibition at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, featuring costumes, props, and sets from the movie. The exhibit allows visitors to explore elements from the film, including items worn by Michael B. Jordan and other cast members.

Bluey and Bingo make their first-ever Disney park debut at Disneyland’s Fantasyland Theatre starting March 22. If you’re looking for a family-friendly pick for your weekend plans, Bluey and Bingo debut at Disneyland with a new live experience opening March 22 at the Fantasyland Theatre, featuring live shows, photo opportunities, themed food and merchandise. The experience runs through the year and is included with regular park admission.

The Autry Museum of the American West is a goldmine of information and insight into everything associated with the American West. Boasting over 600,000 cultural and artistic items, Autry beautifully connects ancient times with the present. If you’re looking for a thought-provoking museum stop this weekend in Los Angeles, check out Several Eternities In A Day, a new Hammer Museum exhibition showcasing over 100 works by nearly two dozen artists from across the Americas. The show highlights living materials that evolve and decay in large-scale installations, paintings, and mixed-media sculpture. The Hammer Museum offers free admission, with garage parking costing $8 for the first three hours.
