The 41st annual Los Angeles Marathon will take over city streets this Sunday, March 8th, 2026.
The 26.2-mile route begins at Dodger Stadium, passing through Downtown, Little Tokyo, Echo Park, Hollywood, West Hollywood, and the Westside, before finishing in Century City at Santa Monica Boulevard and Avenue of the Stars.
Tens of thousands of spectators turn out all along the route to support runners from all over the world, and to enjoy live entertainment including mariachi, DJ performances, drummers, and more.

For a bright, springy outing in L.A., Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge expects its brilliant tulip plantings to peak in March 2026. Volunteers planted over 35,000 bulbs near the entrance and along the promenades, and now’s the time to book tickets to see them.

Lantern Festival returns to the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall on March 7, 2026, co-presented by Pacific Symphony and the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center.
