After nine intense regular season events, the Lexus WSL (World Surf League) Finals brings the top 5 male and female surfers to Lower Trestles for a high-stakes, one-day showdown to crown the World Champion. Ten athletes will compete, but only two will emerge as champions, cementing their place in the sport’s history!
This September, current world No. 1 John John Florence will make his debut as a World Title contender. Caitlin Simmers, in just her second year as a CT athlete, will make her second attempt at the World Title while wearing the Yellow Leader Jersey. Meanwhile, world No. 2 and defending champion Caroline Marks returns to her home crowd to defend her title.
