1. Nights of the Jack
Calabasas’ Halloween Wonderland is back for its second year and these luminous gourds are looking better than ever! 2. Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch
If you’re looking for a spot that is Insta-worthy, this is the patch for you! Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch is definitely a place to go to if you’re trying to be seen – don’t be surprised if you spot a celebrity doing just that! 4. Pa’s Pumpkin Patch

7. Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Festival
We’re not kidding when we say that Poly Pomona’s Don B. Huntly College of Agriculture takes seasonal squash extremely seriously… The festival is home to over 40,000 pumpkins and since it’s short-lived, you can score a squash of any size for only $5! Once you’ve chosen the perfect gourd for you, kill some time with hay wagon rides, squash tunnels, pumpkin seed-spitting contests, and a farmer’s market filled with student-grown produce! The festival is only two days long, taking place on Oct. 6 & 7, but if you don’t care about all the other stuff and just want a pumpkin – head over Tuesday through Sunday beginning Oct. 9! 8. Tina’s Pumpkin Patch
Sure pumpkins are cool and all, but Tina’s patch has a llama! Petting zoo aside, this small and quaint pumpkin patch has everything from affordable pumpkins, pony rides, a free straw maze, an inflatable slide, and mini basketball hoops… Oh yeah, did we mention that there’s a llama!? 9. Carved at Descanso Gardens
Descanso Garden’s new event Carved will last for five nights only! For the first time ever, Descanso Gardens is creating a mile-long trail lined with illuminated professionally-carved pumpkins to “ooo” and “ahh” over. From October 23 to October 27, expect to see thousands of jack-o’lanterns light up the night sky with their impeccable hand-carved designs! 10. The Original Farmers Market Fall Festival
Keeping the tradition alive since 1934, the Original Farmers Market hosts a fall extravaganza for two days straight on October 12 & 13! Spend the day listening to live bands, watching pig races, or engaging in pumpkin bowling, candy corn hole, as well as a pie-eating contest hosted by Du-pars. Learn more here!
