Costco‘s Twisted Churro is officially back for a limited time!
The $1.49 menu item is rolling out to warehouses around the country right now, including in L.A., though the company hasn’t said how long the limited-time run will last.
Costco pulled churros from its menu in January 2024 in favor of a chocolate chunk cookie. But on September 18, the chain confirmed its Twisted Churro is officially coming back as we speak. The rollout varies depending on your local warehouse.
The news generated plenty of attention among Costco lovers, with the Instagram post receiving more than 363,000 likes.
What else has changed on the Costco menu?
The churro’s return is just the latest in a busy year of Costco food court changes, and 2026 has actually brought some of the biggest updates to the menu in years.
In April, Costco quietly tweaked its $1.50 hot dog combo for the first time in 40 years, allowing customers to swap the fountain soda for a bottled water at no extra cost.
The chain also rolled out a seasonal sundae program, with the $2.99 sundae changing flavors several times. And on the savory side, Costco also brought back its Greek pasta salad and five-piece chicken strips.
Will you try Costco’s Twisted Churro anytime soon?
