Calm your mind and experience classical music in a new light with these sensational concerts in some of L.A.’s most magical locations, from historic cathedrals to glowing rooftops. The concert series known simply as “Candlelight” invites everyone to relive the greatest works of classical music, from Vivaldi to Mozart to Bach, in an intimate atmosphere.
And after having enormous success around the world—in cities like Paris, Barcelona, and even right here in L.A.—the experience, while being temporarily put on pause for 2020, has made its way back to the city.
The concerts will feature dazzling, thematic musical performances played by the most talented classical musicians. With countless flickering candles illuminating each unique space, the L.A. Candlelight concerts will present a collection of classical music over the course of 65 mesmerizing minutes.
Note: For the safety of our audience, all of the candlelight will be provided through flameless candles.
This season will see an incredible showcase of music across genres and themes, from a Taylor Swift tribute to classical renditions of your favorite BTS hits, both at Ovation Square in Long Beach. There’ll also be evenings paying homage to the jazz legends at the glamorous Hollywood Roosevelt, a tribute to Coldplay at the Historic Woman’s Club Santa Monica and so much more.
The Candlelight series takes place twice each evening with two back to back 60-65 minute performances. Doors open at least 45 minutes prior to each show.
And of course, Candlelight will always follow the government guidelines for safety measures, and the events will always operate at safe capacities set out by law. Additional safety measures are added to all concerts and will be sent to all who have purchased tickets.
The concerts have been met by countless 5-star reviews, and guests have called it “a creative, enchanting, and new concert experience” and that “the performers were fantastic!”
