Los Angeles knows how to do a night out, but what if your next concert came with a glass of wine, and every sip had its own soundtrack? Meet Candlelight Wine, a brand-new experience that brings together two of life’s great pleasures: live music and expertly curated wine, all by the glow of flickering candles.
Catch One
What is Candlelight Wine?
Over 70 minutes, you’ll sample five carefully selected wines while a professional string quartet sets the mood. And forget the formal wine-tasting lectures. One of the musicians guides the evening, introducing each pour alongside a musical piece chosen to complement it. Think less classroom, more candlelit soirée with no prior wine expertise required.
Where is Candlelight Wine taking place?
For this new experience, Candlelight is setting the scene at Catch One on West Pico Boulevard, a venue with a story all its own. Opened by Jewel Thais-Williams in 1973 as Jewel’s Catch One, it became a landmark gathering place for L.A.’s Black LGBTQ+ community. Recognised as a Historic-Cultural Monument in 2024, the venue brings decades of cultural history to this fresh take on a night of music and wine.

Want to be among the first to experience it? Join the waitlist for exclusive presale access on October 27, ahead of the general ticket release on October 28. The first evening takes place on November 28, and the experience is strictly 21+. With five wines, live strings and a sea of candles, this is one evening worth getting a taste of early.
