The holiday season is officially creeping up on Southern California.
Knott’s Berry Farm is gearing up for its annual seasonal takeover, transforming the beloved Buena Park park into Knott’s Merry Farm.
The holiday celebration kicks off on November 20 and runs through January 3, 2027, bringing festive entertainment, thousands of twinkling lights, and winter comfort food just outside L.A.
Here is everything to expect at this year’s winter takeover:
A brand-new Peanuts ice show takes the stage
The centerpiece of this season’s entertainment lineup is an all-new production at the Walter Knott Theater.
Titled ‘Snoopy’s Merry Christmas Follies’, the ice-skating spectacular pairs a swinging vocal quartet with high-kicking dancers, world-class figure skaters, and appearances from the entire Peanuts crew.
It’s an energetic, vintage-style holiday revue designed for visitors of all ages.
Victorian carolers, theater classics, and ‘snow’ in Ghost Town
Step into Ghost Town, and you’ll find yourself transported straight into a 19th-century winter scene.
The Calico Carolers are set to wander the historic wooden walkways, singing both classic carols and contemporary favorites.
When night falls, the fan-favorite Snow and Glow experience takes over, pairing thousands of synchronized glowing lights with gentle snow flurries drifting across the streets.
More holiday programming around the park includes:
- ‘Home for the Holidays’: A high-energy seasonal music and dance revue returning to the Calico Mine Stage.
- ‘A Calico Christmas Carol’ & ‘The Gift of the Magi, 1885’: Knott’s melodrama company stages two classic holiday adaptations inside the historic Bird Cage Theatre.
- Santa’s Christmas Cabin: The Wilderness Dance Hall transforms into an alpine haven where guests can meet and snap photos with Santa Claus.
- Live Fiesta Village Sets: Regional Latin music performances from Adelaide Pilar, Wayu Band, and Junio.
- Wandering Wranglers: Interactive cowboy performances returning across Calico Park.
Handcrafted holiday shopping and seasonal comfort food
If you want to knock out your holiday gift list early, the Christmas Crafts Village is returning to Ghost Town.
Local Southern California artisans will set up shop along the paths, offering handmade goods, custom holiday decor, and one-of-a-kind local creations.
Naturally, Knott’s is rolling out a dedicated lineup of seasonal treats to keep you fueled while you browse:
- Prancer’s Pot Roast Tater Tots
- Glazed ham sandwiches
- Hot chocolate churros
