Last Friday, ATEEZ made history as the first K-pop boy group to perform at Coachella. The eight-member ensemble—comprised of Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho—captivated fans on the Sahara stage during Weekend 1 of the iconic music festival, performing their hits, such as “Say My Name,” “HALA HALA,” and “Crazy Form.” And of course, ATEEZ will return to the Sahara stage this very evening for Weekend 2.
Continuing their momentum, ATEEZ, along with fellow K-pop group xikers, is also being celebrated at the GRAMMY Museum with the debut of “KQ ENT. (ATEEZ & xikers): A GRAMMY Museum Pop-Up.” This exhibit, which opened on April 10 and will run through June 20, marks the GRAMMY museum’s first-ever K-pop focused pop-up. It aims to honor the genre’s significant global impact, and provides a space for fans to celebrate their favorite musical acts from South Korea right in Los Angeles.
The GRAMMY Museum has committed the next two years to exhibits and programming that honor Korean pop music, starting off with this exciting pop-up. This particular exhibit invites visitors to dive into the dynamic worlds of ATEEZ and xikers with:
- Exclusive outfits and props: View the actual outfits and props used by ATEEZ and xikers in their music videos, providing fans with a rare, up-close look at the details and styling around K-pop’s visual flair.
- Interactive video walls: Engage with walls of music videos where visitors can put on a pair of headphones and watch vibrant performances come to life, offering an immersive experience.
- Concept art displays: Explore abstract drawings and concept art created by members of xikers for their first mini-album “HOUSE OF TRICKY: Doorbell Ringing,” showcasing the creative process behind their music and visuals.
For newcomers and seasoned fans alike, the pop-up provides an opportunity to dive into this global music phenomenon. For those new to the K-pop scene, ATEEZ—also known as “A TEEnager Z“—is an 8-member boy band that debuted in October 2018 and has since sold out global tours and released chart-topping singles, establishing themselves as leaders of the new school in K-pop. Sharing the spotlight in this exhibit, xikers, who debuted in 2023, has rapidly gained adoration within the genre for their dynamic talent and music.
Running from April 10 through June 10, this limited-time pop-up invites fans and visitors to immerse themselves in the world of ATEEZ and xikers, all while celebrating the achievements of these groups and the passionate community of fans that have propelled K-pop to the forefront of music.
