Los Angeles is famous for many things, but up until now, being a fantastic wedding location wouldn’t have been at the top of any lists. However, according to this new study from the fine jeweler company, Shane Co., Los Angeles is the second most popular city for weddings in the whole of California. So now we can add “top wedding location” as one more reason to love L.A.
L.A.’s sunshine wins again
California ranks as the state with the most weddings per year with an average of 220,000 weddings annually. While San Diego won the top spot as the very best city for a wedding, Los Angeles comes in a close second place and with very good reason. As we all well know, L.A. receives fantastic sunshine almost completely year round. There’s no need to worry about storm clouds on your big day.
Location, cuisine, and beauty wins big
Plus, Los Angeles offers great wedding venues of all types, from more casual beach ceremonies to romantic wineries to the fanciest hotel ballrooms. Additionally, wedding catering in L.A. is also incredible due to the vast amount of culinary choices that grace our city. Couples can choose from literally any type of cuisine from around the world and still be able to ensure dietary restriction standards.
It comes as no surprise that Angelenos are serious about their beauty, and enjoy one of the highest ranks for best beauty suppliers in the state. Additionally, Los Angeles scores big with having the top award-winning florists out of any other Californian city. Beauty of all types is important to L.A. residents.
Gorgeous photos of the special day
But the biggest score is with wedding photographers. L.A. enjoys the largest percentage of award-winning photographers in the state. Not only that but L.A. ranks 4th in the entire United States for having the most award-winning photographers.
Now while L.A. does have the highest total average wedding costs in California, it still seems to be considered a dream location for so many couples hoping to enjoy their special day in L.A. Los Angeles is the City of Angels in love!
