A massive Wicked-themed Christmas tree just arrived at Universal Studios CityWalk – and it just might change us for good!
Wicked, the musical-movie franchise that took over the world just last year, is gearing up for the holiday-timed release of the sequel, Wicked: For Good. Just ahead of the premiere, Universal Studios in Hollywood, California is celebrating the good news by making their annual Christmas tree a little Wicked this year.
Designed by Rolling Greens, the tree went up on Saturday, November 8 and features the film’s iconic pink and green colors, opulent ornaments nodding to the film, and even an Emerald City cutout.
It is now available for CityWalk visitors to see – and fan reactions are already going viral on social media.
The huge Christmas tree sits in the center of the CityWalk’s open area, just in front of the AMC theaters.
No admission to the adjacent theme park is needed. The stunning Christmas tree is completely free for CityWalk visitors to see. Parking at CityWalk typically costs anywhere between $10 and $ 35, but AMC moviegoers can get their parking validated or reimbursed, allowing them to pay only $5.
