Any film that Hayao Miyazaki works on is truly a work of art! 🎨
Spoke Art, a San Francisco-based art gallery, is traveling down the coast for the “Miyazaki in Los Angeles Tribute Show” with plans to rock every anime lover’s world! The three-day pop-up is scheduled to run over the weekend of August 17 through August 19. Setting up shop inside of Santa Monica’s Building Bridges Art Exchange, the exhibition will celebrate the Japanese filmmaker/animator’s career over the decades.
Over 130 artists from around the world are contributing pieces dedicated to Miyazaki’s films such as Ponyo, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Howl’s Magic Castle, and many more!
The show begins on opening night August 17 from 5 pm to 10 pm, and lasts August 18 -19 from 10 am to 6 pm.
