You can visit the Academy Museum for free this Sunday, June 14!
As a part of the city welcoming FIFA fans, the L.A. museum is hosting a “Fútbol Free Day.” From 10 am to 6 pm, visitors can visit the Academy Museum for free, as well as see three movie screenings in 35mm. Fruit vendors are also giving out 100 free servings over on the Walt Disney Company Piazza from 11 am to 4 pm, first-come, first-served.
Other activities include “Inflatable human foosball” from 11 am to 4 pm on the Walt Disney Company Piazza, alongside Fanny’s taco stand open from 12 pm through 5 pm.
The three films being screened in 35mm are Bend It Like Beckham, Shaolin Soccer, and Offside.
With no reservation needed, guests are encouraged to explore the museum’s ongoing exhibitions, including Jaws: The Exhibition, Studio Ghibli’s PONYO, Barbie to Anna Karenina: The Cinematic Worlds of Sarah Greenwood and Katie Spencer, and more.

How much is entry typically?
Entry to the Academy Museum is typically $25 for adults, $19 for seniors (62+), and $15 for students. Children 17 and under and visitors with a California EBT card can enter for free. There’s also a reduced admission after 4:30 pm: Adult tickets are $18, seniors are $15, and $10 for students.
