1. Historic Downtown Farmers Market

Sometimes living in the city, we can feel a bit disconnected from agriculture, but the DTLA Farmer’s Market brings the farm to Angelenos. Here, folks can purchase not only organic produce from some of the best farmers in California but even jewelry and clothing from local vendors. Learn more here!

2. Downtown Santa Monica Farmers Market

Since 1981, the Santa Monica Farmers Market has been the go-to place for locals, celebs, and even L.A.’s most talented chefs that are on the hunt for fresh goods. Here you can find vivid flowers, savory herbs, and in-season produce. Learn more here!

3. Prosperity Market

Prosperity Market is a mobile and online market featuring Black farmers and entrepreneurs with one unifying goal: to feed Angelenos and make healthy food affordable. In fact, this coming weekend they’re hosting an online and physical pop-up, which means no matter where you are in L.A., you can get your hands on organic goods! Learn more here.

4. Crenshaw Farmers Market

Every Saturday locals flock to the Crenshaw Farmer’s Market to shop from dozens of local farmers, and artisan vendors from Louisiana, the Caribbean, Central America, and across the state. They offer everything from spices to sprouts, dishes to baked goods. This market doesn’t stop there though! They also host monthly events that include cooking demonstrations, tastings, and activities that are fun for the whole family. Learn more here!

5. Uptown Whittier Farmer’s Market
Ah, Whittier, where the farm goods are prettier. That’s how the saying goes, right? 😉 Anyway, The Uptown Whittier Farmer’s Market is your go-to place on the Southeast of L.A. for farm fresh grown produce, incredible artisanal goods by small business, and local food vendors. Every Friday, you can catch Whittier locals browsing and shopping fresh bread from Old Town, yummy cheese spreads from Parmigiano Regiano, micro-greens from Sarah’s So-Cal Garden, and so much more!

6. Glendale Artsakh Farmers Market
This farmer’s market is a new kid on the block, and just joined the scene last April, but it’s safe to say they’re here to stay! Found on the corner of Louise and Harvard Street, the small yet mighty Glendale Artsakh Farmers Market carries a variety of locally grown produce down to handmade products. Depending on the weekend, you can usually find fresh fruit that’s in season, handmade soaps made from natural ingredients to vintage goods, and you can even catch live music.
