Anime Expo 2025 is set to take over the Los Angeles Convention Center this weekend from July 3–6.
This event is North America’s largest anime convention, and it brings together over 100,000 fans to celebrate Japanese pop culture. It offers a vibrant mix of exclusive premieres, panel discussions, cosplay gatherings, and live performances and concerts. Whether you’re a longtime anime enthusiast or a newcomer, Anime Expo 2025 promises an unforgettable experience.
💫Highlights at Anime Expo 2025
This year’s theme, “Academia,” invites attendees to explore anime through an educational lens. It will feature content from major studios like Crunchyroll, Netflix, Aniplex, and VIZ.
Highlights of the upcoming Anime Expo include world premieres of:

Fans can experience the following:
- Exhibit Hall spans 340,000 sq ft − anime merch, collectibles, electronics

- Masquerade cosplay contest + Maid Cafe & J-Pop Concert stages

- Pick up your badge early: Pick it up July 2 or walk up onsite
- Double-check special ticketed events (such as concerts, Maid Café, Masquerade) that require a separate purchase.
- Plan your schedule now! With over 1000 hours of programming, it’s important to pick your top priorities.
- Line up early for popular panels on Friday and Saturday (The unofficial rule: show up at least one hour ahead!)
- Have swag/cash ready for the Exhibit Hall and food vendors.
