Southern California might need to dust off the umbrellas again.
The National Weather Service announced there is a slight chance that an atmospheric river could bring heavy rainfall and high winds to the region next week.
While the Pacific Northwest and Northern California face a 60% risk of heavy precipitation between Nov. 10 and Nov. 12, forecasters note the system could drift south.
Southern California currently carries a 20% to 40% chance of rain between Nov. 10 and Nov. 16.
What the National Weather Service is forecasting

According to the NWS atmospheric river outlook, a broad plume of deep Pacific moisture will take aim at the West Coast.
Along with coastal downpours, the system brings a 20% to 40% risk of heavy snow across higher elevations throughout the far West and the Rockies.
While northern areas face potential low-elevation flooding, the storm track across Central and Southern California remains variable.
What this means for L.A.
For Angelenos, the wet pattern follows an already damp start to autumn.
After a stormy Halloween, the Climate Prediction Center projects a 40% to 60% chance of above-average rainfall across Southern California for November.
Before any potential downpours hit, L.A. will enjoy classic autumn conditions. Expect clear skies and comfortable afternoon highs in the 70s through Friday.
Local forecasters at KTLA 5 will continue tracking the system as Pacific models firm up over the coming days.
