With its gorgeous beaches, the Hollywood industry connections, and delicious food from around the globe, it’s easy to see why Los Angeles, California is a hot destination for world travelers.
But the city just earned a new accolade for anyone looking to visit. One L.A. estate made the cut for the World’s 50 Best Hotels of 2025.
Hotel Bel-Air, a luxury 5-star hotel in the heart of Canyon Hills, landed at No. 42 on the new list.
“Although just three miles from the heart of Beverly Hills, Hotel Bel-Air’s 12-acre pocket of peace feels a million miles from the bustle of its surrounding neighbourhood,” the ranking reads. “Its 103 rooms and suites have long been a bolthole of well-heeled travellers and the Hollywood elite as the place to disappear and unwind, with the resort’s picture-perfect spa the jewel in its crown.”
It’s the only Californian hotel to make the list, and one of two in the U.S. It was beat out by some world-class institutions in London, São Paulo, Hong Kong, NYC, and more.
And the luxury will cost visitors a pretty penny. Rooms start at $900 a night with suites ranging up to $1800.
