Of course, Los Angeles is famous for its many food carts serving our iconic bacon-wrapped hot dogs. But there are a few tried and true L.A. restaurants for delectable hot dogs that’ll hit the spot every time.

Pink’s Hot Dogs is serving its “America the Beautiful Dog,” a stacked 12-inch jalapeño sausage loaded with pastrami, bacon, lettuce, and tomato. Clark Street Bakery is teaming up with Cream Co. Meats for “Dog Days,” featuring chili cheese dogs, Danish street dogs, and seasonal sides like watermelon agua fresca, plus holiday pre-orders for buns and desserts. Tail o’ the Pup is keeping it classic with hickory-smoked franks, chili cheese fries, and its signature Baseball Dog.
Pink’s
Pink’s has been a Hollywood legend since 1939. You can choose from popular favorites like the Lord of the Rings Dog topped with BBQ sauce and onion rings or the Martha Stewart Dog topped with sauteed onions, mushrooms, nacho cheese, bacon, but Pink’s Famous Chili Dog with mustard, chili, onions is still an iconic classic for a reason. Plus, it was a favorite spot of Anthony Bourdain. You can’t get a better recommendation!
Tail O’ The Pup
Tail O’ The Pup started in 1946, and the legendary hot dog-shaped building has been a beloved staple of L.A. ever since. Cupid’s Hot Dogs has been “home of the Valley’s signature chili dog” since 1946. They have two locations serving up their famous Cupid Dog topped with mustard, onions, and chili.
Flooky’s
Flooky’s has been serving the San Fernando Valley since 1965. Head to one of their two locations to order a bacon-wrapped hot dog with chili, cheese, and onions called the Super Dog. Or go on a health kick and grab a California Dog topped with mustard, pico de gallo, avocado, and cheese.
