Beverly Wilshire is bringing 1970s glamour to L.A.’s outdoor dining scene.
The acclaimed THEBlvd Restaurant at Beverly Wilshire hotel will be debuting an al fresco dining and cocktail pop-up called THEBlvd Privé, on March 3. A hidden cobblestone boulevard will be transformed into a romantic setting, enveloped in lush green hedges and illuminated with gas lamps from a castle in Edinburgh. This limited-time culinary experience, set under the grand porte cochère, will evoke all the charm of Hollywood’s Golden Age.
Guests can sip on Ruinart champagne or extravagant libations and dine on locally-sourced California plates prepared by Restaurant Chef Amir Nematipour. Expect sumptuous dishes like roasted whole branzino with chermoula, petite salad and BBQ lime; the roasted acorn squash winter salad is comprised of California-grown kale, quinoa and cranberry dressing; while the Snake River Farm beef filet is complete with truffled gnocchi, roasted greens and peppercorn sauce. But there are plenty of seasonal options to satisfy any palate from brunch to dinner.
Between the curation of wines and craft cocktails like Forbidden Fruit, there’ll be plenty of reasons to stay and soak up the glamorous atmosphere. Save room for dessert though, because it would be a crime to leave without trying the Privé Cocoa Bar, featuring chocolate moelleux sponge, chocolate crémeux, hazelnut crush and cocoa nib nougatine, or the roasted fruit tart comprised of crumbly sable, citrusy crémeux and house-made passion fruit meringue.
It’s a sensorial experience where every detail has been meticulously crafted to ensure a seamless evening. From the moment you arrive at South Rodeo Drive—where you’ll enjoy complimentary valet parking—to the beautiful dishes served with melodic music playing gently in the background, you’ll leaving feeling indulged.
