The BreakUp Bar will be open in Hollywood for three weeks only!
Love is in the air—well, it’s steadily trickling into the shelves at stores—and it can all get a little bit stuffy as February 14 comes around to haunt us. But the BreakUp Bar is about to make you fall in love with the most dreaded holiday of the year in an unexpected way.
Escape the sea of overplayed roses and chocolate hearts with this refreshing Anti-Valentine’s Day Pick-Up Experience, starting on January 28! You’ll switch up the usual pricey meals for a menu of indulgent packages featuring freshly-mailed insults, wine, cocktails, cheese platters and other sweet treats.
There’ll be four options to choose from for you and your not-so-special-someone to pick up at a special cocktail window on Melrose Avenue. You could go for a “Hate Mail” Package for one, featuring French macarons, chocolate-covered strawberries and freshly-mailed insults. Or allow the “Ugly Divorce” to fill your black heart with a charcuterie box and a large champagne punch kit, “Packaged with Sadness.”
Love in the time of Covid has been make-or-break for most couples and it’s been a virtual obstacle course for singles. So instead of keeping those emotions bottled up, you’ll get to celebrate them with crafted pours that are guaranteed to make you forget all any heartbreak.
This pop-up space located next to Severance Wine Bar will be open for pick-up between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. daily. While you’re there, you’ll get to check out the 8-foot wall of broken relationships, mini art exhibit of relics of Valentine’s Day past, & 10ft projection screen showing classic breakup movies of past and present.
