Disneyland is known to be full of wonders, so the secret bar hidden inside of Carthay Circle comes as no surprise! ✨
Earlier this month the California Adventure restaurant launched an adults-only speakeasy, gifting park goers with a child-free oasis – and booze!
As you enter the lobby of Carthay Circle, you’re transported to an old-timey rendition of the Golden Age of Hollywood. But don’t the let astonishing replica of one of Central LA’s movie houses distract you from your mission. You’ll need to find one of the restaurant’s hosts and ask to be brought to the Carthay Circle Terrace Lounge.
A magical destination awaits as you walk up a hidden staircase that leads to a private balcony which overlooks spectacular views of Grizzly Mountain and Buena Vista Street. Though the bar requires no reservation, the outdoor patio has limited seating fitting somewhere around two dozen people at a time across the seven available high-top tables.
The drink menu mimics the restaurant’s downstairs bar but offers a completely different and limited bar menu. If you’re up to it, try taking up an order of firecracker duck wings, signature fried biscuits, or citrus-marinated ceviche. Take a look for yourself, here!
If you didn’t know, now you know…
You’re welcome!
