It’s a free phone line where you can hear cheerful, heartfelt advice and encouragement from students at West Side Elementary School in Healdsburg, California.

Just days after launching in 2022, the Peptoc Hotline exploded in popularity. It went viral on social media, landed features in major news outlets, and racked up over 60,000 calls per hour. By the end of the first month, nearly 5 million people from around the world had called in. Seven months later, the hotline went viral all over again, with millions of calls pouring in daily. As of June 2024, the total number of calls has soared past 17 million—and counting.
